Discover the joys and benefits of tap-dancing with Miss Caroline Tap Dance - it's great for fitness, fun and mental health!

Adult classes run for one hour. They start with a warm-up, then it's time to concentrate on technique. After that, you'll learn a fun routine (a new one each term) followed by a cool down and stretch.  All classes emphasise making dance fun whilst still teaching quality tap-technique!!

How much?

Generally speaking, casual classes are $25. However, Absolute Beginner classes are booked as a course, which works out at $220 for 10 weeks, insurance included, plus booking fee. Upfront term fees are slightly cheaper. All students must pay an insurance levy of $10 per year.

What to wear/bring?
Tap shoes not necessary to start but try to wear non-grip shoes (runners are no good, try leather soles.) There are a few pairs of tapshoes available for borrowing in a limited size range. Wear loose comfortable clothing and prepare to sweat (and to have FUN!) We recommend you bring a water-bottle, you will need it!

Where?

Classes are held at 10 Salisbury Crescent, North Fitzroy.

Miss Caroline Tap Dance is easily accessible via public transport, within a short walking distance of the 96 (stop #17) or 112 trams (stop #21)

How do I start?

Our tap classes run in tandem with the school term each year. You can join at the start of any term but new students are not accepted after Week 3.  Keep an eye out for school holiday classes, as these are 'drop-in' sessions and a great introduction to our school.
